About the process
Blanks are selected from seasoned wood for their grain and colour. They are carefully cut so that when the pen is complete, the grain appears as continuous as possible. The wood is then turned to size, sanded through 5 different grits of sandpaper and then rubbed with Danish oil. I then friction-polish the pen before completing it with the premium fittings
Handcrafted pencils make great gifts! You can give them to friends and family for their anniversary, birthday, graduation or wedding. If you like the style, but would rather have different components or a different design in the same wood, please feel free to ask.
